(PAF) It is an honor for me to serve as the President for 2023. As we continue to redefine how things are accomplished, some things remain the same ~ PAF’s membership is comprised of some of the most talented, professional, courteous, and driven paralegals. I always say I do not know everything, but with our membership, I have resources to help me resolve any question or be pointed in the right direction.” With chapters throughout the state and over 500 members, PAF is proud to say it’s the oldest and largest association in the state promoting the paralegal profession. PAF has a rich history. As we celebrate our 47 th year, we are proud to remain actively involved in community service projects while continuing to work with members to accomplish a central goal of professional growth. The association strives to inspire and motivate paralegals to be successful by providing continuing professional development through both education and mentorship, along with leadership roles in the paralegal community. On a State level, we offer an Annual Seminar in the fall providing continuing legal education on a variety of topics that affect paralegals in the workplace, communities, and beyond. Further, our Chapters independently offer seminars at various times during the year to provide continuing legal education to their local paralegals. Our members enjoy discounted member rates to all Chapter and State events, as well as State provided member benefits. We support and encourage our members sitting on committees with their local bar associations and well as the Florida Bar to promote the advancement of the profession and ensuring that paralegals are recognized and appreciated throughout the legal industry. While I have just started my term as President, I am excited about the possibilities before me, the other members of the Executive Committee and our Board of Directors. Providing more resources for our members, dedicating time to our committees and leadership development, all for the advancement of the profession. We are working on identifying more strategies to help us meet our association goals.
